Dr. Paul Plaridel Aguinaldo Abaya Jr.

Dr. Paul Plaridel Aguinaldo Abaya Jr. attended College at the University of San Diego in San Diego, CA. U.S.A. where he received his degree in Biology minor in Chemistry in 1993. He entered Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, US. and received his doctorate degree in dentistry in 1998. After dental school, he passed his board exams with honors and earned his dental licenses both in United States and in the Philippines in the same year. In 2003, Dr. Abaya completed a two-year post doctoral residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry in New York, US.

He decided to move back to the Philippines immediately after graduation to join his family to serve and help the country through his chosen profession and focus on Family Dentistry.

Dr. Abaya is currently the President of the Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc. (2019-2021) and a member of numerous prestigious and renowned associations such as the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Philippine Dental Association (PDA). He has been awarded the title of Fellow of International College of Dentists (ICD) and Diplomate of Philippine Board of Pediatric Dentistry (PBPD).

Through the years, he has also garnered recognition, namely, being the recipient of the the Asian Achiever Awardee for Dental Medicine during the 20th Annual Asia Pacific Excellence & Asian Achiever Awards in 2012.
